From my years of experience I can say that living with a Miniature American Shepherd (MAS) is not for the feint-hearted: this is an intense breed that is highly intelligent and always one step ahead. They are Herding Dogs, energetic and require plenty of exercise. Their devotion and loyalty to their family is almost humanlike.

They are extremely loyal and will follow you to the end of the earth, or just the bathroom! They learn extremely quickly and thrive on the interaction. While initially reserved toward strangers their loyalty to their family makes them excellent guardians.

 

My “Minis” have varying characters from very chilled and calm to crazy and busy. As much as they are devoted to me I am devoted to them. For this reason, I am driven to raising beautiful healthy pups and strive to promote and showcase this beautiful breed.
